FEMA RELEASED A POLICY CLARIFYING WHAT IS ELIGIBLE UNDER THE PUBLIC ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR COVID DISASTER AID, TELLING NEWS 9 IN A STATEMENT, “FEMA IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO SUPPORT THE DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS AND OPERATIONAL EXPENSES OF FACILITIES.” SUPT. LALIBERTE: BEEN A LOT OF QUICK ADJUSTMENTS AND REPLANNING AND REORGANIZING. AMY: SUPERINTENDENT SCOTT LALIBERTE CALLS IT A SIZEABLE UNANTICIPATED FINANCIAL CURVE BALL. LONDONDERRY WAS COUNTING ON $300,000 IN FEDERAL REIMBURSEMENTS. SUPT. LALIBERTE: IT CAN BE KIND OF DISHEARTENING, PARTICULARLY UNDER THESE CONDITIONS.
