This obituary is part of “We Will Remember,” a series about those we’ve lost to the coronavirus.

Carrie Lynne Patrick of Elba Twp. died Aug. 4 due to COVID-19 complications.

Patrick, 43, cherished her family and loved to host gatherings at her home.  She also loved her two rescue dogs Jax and Tubbs.

Patrick became ill after her husband and one of her sons had also been sick. She died at McClaren Lapeer Hospital.

“I am saddened by the fact that all those who have died in this country from this horrible virus have died alone,” said her mother, Mary Virga.

She leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Jack and Mary Virga; her husband, Tim; four sons Paul, Dominic, James and Dante; grandson Victor; brother Jack (Sarah); two nieces Addison and Elise, and many friends.
