Audience Development Director | By The Players’ Tribune

Location: New York, NY

TPT is looking for an Audience Development Director to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is creative, organized and eager to be a part of an innovative publishing platform.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee company wide analytics, research and reporting (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insights)
• Create actionable strategies based on data learnings tied to overall growth
• Manage the Audience Development Coordinator and work with team members to optimize all audience development activities
• Understand and anticipate the goals across multiple departments, including Content, Sales and Social Media
• Work closely with the Content team to regularly communicate data insights that will aide long-term strategies
• Manage the growth strategy of the TPT Newsletter 

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• 7+ years experience working managing an audience development team, preferably at a digital media company
• Ability to wear many hats, multi-task in a small, start-up environment
• Prior experience leading a team
• Knowledge and passion for sports a plus
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus
• Strong data management skills; advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and other analytic tool
